I think every person has the ability to recognise a threat to oneself dont they? If you have a situation which you feel threatened in and you are a police officer why shouldnt you have an arsenal to draw from, why shouldnt you protect yourself. If you are the offender and you are threatening a police officer I hope you get nailed to the fucken wall with a tazer and spray or whatever 1/ you shouldnt be threatening an officer of the law 2/ if you do I would not like to see any PC namby Pamby bullshit for the offender to hide behind.
Tuff policing is what this country needs with violent offenders and OTT drunks and Drug users.

I remember riding two months ago with you on the Taranaki ride...And that young guy almost crashed around that lefthand corner right in front of us...

I slowed down so that rider wouldnt keep racing...And you blasted past him like a FCKN NOOB!!!!!

Then said rider started to chased you....Well done Mentor!!!!

You got that wrong sorry Steve, he admitted he was racing me, I took off as I suspected as much ie took away the temptation from him, I tried yelling for him to follow me for a while but strangely he couldnt hear me. Once we stopped at Awakino I had a long talk to him and discussed the event, talked about bike setup etc and offered to spend some time, later I gave him a prize, also the said rider didnt start to chase me, I took off and was alone for a while actually which wasnt hard 250 vs 999 ?

Think of me what you like Crazy Steve I dont really care, post crapola like you have will get you an infraction unfortunetly, thats the site rules especially if a complant is given.

I have to confess that I have never been in any contact with any police force anywhere so my opinions about them have been pretty neutral up until now.

I am saddened to see how the police have risen to the bait on this online forum and deeply concerned at the love of firearms that seems to have been exhibited by members of the police.

I'm also jaded at being fobbed off by personnel at a police station (Namely Howick) when I tried to report a crime that was commited against me.

I still have great faith in the Strathclyde Police Force having seen them in action from a distance and hearing of positive experiences from members of the public.

From the public feedback I have heard since my arrival in New Zealand and the publicity on television my opinions of police are rather jaded to say the least.

C'mon fellas - learn some magnanimity - this is not abuse - neither was my post about hearts and minds so don't defend yourself from something that is not a verbal attack.

I Think that our KB Cops should be due a bit of respect, certainly more so than has been displayed on this thread, they are bikers for one and two they are a very handy source of information to us all on legal issues, Ive seen many threads where a valid and qualified opinion has helped us civilians with a issue or problem, if they were to leave the site, the KB community would be less a valuable site for it.

I have been stabbed at, thrown of a building, beaten up on numerous occasions, had a gun pointed in my face, had an axe thrown at me, a large mentally disturbed male back me into the wall swinging a golf driver at my head, seen two of my mates shot at and have had someone try and run over me....and thats just off the top of my head.

If i went to the massive pile of filing i have i could find many many more occasions where i have been in life and death/situations involving myself and other members of the public that i have dealt with.

All of these situations have occured when i was trying to help a member of the public, or when i was proactively looking for crime.

I suggest you take another cup of shut the fuck up because apart from resorting to your normal childish insults that i get from drunken teenages in town there is nothing new in your post.

Your not a cop and you don't know my job. Yes this is not L.A but we do have serious crime problems to indicate we don't is a crock of shit.

Move to a country with real crime problems then cry about it. I don't take the piss out of your job. I state I have no respect for the pigs due to my dealings with them and what I see with my own eyes.
