    Burt Munro Challenge 24-26 November

Heads up guys. A wee way ahead but thought you should all know. 24 - 26 November. Beach racing followed by track racing at Teretonga Raceway, finishing with speedway. Some of my mates are already organising to come down so it would be good if some Kiwibikers turned up too.

This has the potential to be a big event because it will be embraced by the local community as well as bikers.

The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?

Well shag, Far Queue. I did a search and came up with nothing so thought I'd give a heads-up. I'll bump it nearer the time. Thanks.

There is a few of us from the North Shore looking to head off on the 22nd to Wgton ferry over that night and head to Invercargill on the next day (Thursday). Looking to head back on Sunday night to Hamner and then wander back north on Mon/Tue. Unsure of numbers at the moment possibly a couple of Guzzi's a BMW and the odd Triumph and of course the Bandit.
Hope the HP are a little more liberal in the South than up our way at the moment as it might end up a long slow trip.

Myself and a few workmates will be heading down from just north of Christchurch for this. Probably head down inland and then come back up the coast. Sounds like a great weekend planned.

What day are you leaving JT. At this stage a few of us are leaving Rangiora Friday morning. Looking at heading home Sunday or Monday. There is a mixture of bikes so won`t be breaking any land speed records but should be a good weekend.
