    Third time around the block

    Hi everyone

This is my third crack at motorcycling, mainly due to the excessive cost of motoring (and parking in the Auckland CBD).

First bike was a Honda Z50J in the late 70's followed by a break. Then a CBR600F followed by a BMW K100RS for the last 11 years. Sold it in January of this year thinking that I'll never ride again. Kept all the gear in the valiant hope that I could go riding again and before you know it I am back again albeit on a scooter.

Really enjoy everyone's comments and colourful feedback

Watch out Auckland traffic - here I come

Sweet as, good to hear you're back on two wheels of freedom! Won't be long till you trade up to something that satisfies your burning desire to ride!

Welcome! I had a K100 RS for 7 years and loved it to bits. Everyone thinks its a pipe and slippers bike but it can fair boogie if ridden hard. Only bought a Blackbird so that I could ride something with real grunt before I got too old!

    Enjoy your return!
