It's the Hunter clan badge. One would assume that RIB has a strong familial awareness.

I think I've mentioned this before, but mine comes from William S. Burroughs last book "The Ghost of Chance". Set in Madagascar. the main character is befriended by a Lemur he names Ghost. Ghost Lemur (Lemur by the way mean Ghost in Madagascan) sounded call and hadn't been taken around the place so I used it.

The only other nic I've had was i_morpheus, which related to a short piece written by a French writer who's name I can't recall. It was a piece about drugs and had huge amounts of symbolism in it. I really liked it and the name, with the Greek/Roman mythological significance too. Then of course The Matrx came along, and all of a sudden every man and his dog was Morpheus so I decided I'd better move on.

I feel truely alive during racing conditions.

I decided to choose the name "Moto Racer" from the game because it felt the most appropriate.

Although I have a hell of a lot of work to do to become a real racer yet.

I just wanted something I could aspire too.
before my wife came up with RR, I almost went with Podium.

Was reading the site threads for quite some time without login on as I didn't know what user name I wanted to be stuck with.

Finding a user name is a pain and I think of one and forget what it was. When I joined ADVrider as the only Kiwi I wanted a name that told where I came from.Around the same time looking in a Maori dictionary for the spelling of a word I couldn't find,in the back I found a section for the names of things they didn't have names for - kinda onamatapoeia stuff...like kau, hama and poaka,I had a laugh when I saw the word for motorcycle - motupaika - say it with a Maori accent, neat eh? so I used that as my handle on the site. They soon cut it down to Motu,so I use it everywhere now,I like it and it's easy to remember.

That's pretty much why I just use my real name - because I think I'd probably have second thoughts about whatever alternative nickname I thought up.

    Absolutely NO imagination.....

    Well now... boring actually!

Mine is my online name for www.clubsub.org.nz

I found this site almost by mistake as I was looking for a new bike to buy and I was taking the time to have a look around first.

Then by the time I actually bought the new bike (having been a visitor to the site for a while) I was really excited and keen to 'share' and login.

Ooops no login name - and (because at my age the gray cells die off at an alarming rate ) I have no imagination so I used the one that I used on a couple of other sites....

Mines same as the biker ones...rode a blue ZX9R C1 for 5 years...used the name all over and it stuck.

I did try using the name Black Mille after I changed, but I started getting lewd pms and posts (on other sites) from none bikies who seemed to think that it was descriptive of me and that I was a gurlie

It's an old nickname that my sister used to call me, although I'm not as slim as I used to be (read: f*ck'n skinny).

Devil, shortened from DevilWTKC (because people kept spelling it wrong ), which is short for Devil With The Kings Card.
