Really sorry to hear about Steve's departure from this mortal coil. Very entertaining bloke, and always came across as being very genuine unlike the majority of 'celebs'

Hope you died happy, you crazy mofo

    Unhappy Really really sad :(

Steve was an amazing environmentalist, conservationist and all round animal lover. He did more in his 44 years than most people will do in 10 lifetimes. From being in our homes in such a unique way, he has surely grown on us all. I for one am deeply saddened by the news.

Still, his memory will never, ever die - that atleast is a small silver lining.

    RIP

If you spend your life annoying animals that can kill you, it should be no surprise when they do.
Tough on his wife and little child though.
That crazy jarpie that pisses deadly snakes off will be next. A Hooded Cobra got him on the last show. Unlike Cleopatra, he survived.

    Sad news.
A good bastard who was always fighting for the animals and their territory which man is always taking from them.
    RIP.

Admired the guy for his passion and spunk. No different from our passion for bikes - just I'm not rich and famous for it. He lived life to the full and you can't ask for more than that. Is sad for the family. RIP

mate, we went over to australia zoo last year, and yeah, as much of a pisstake as it seems, that is really the man, and his wife and kids are pretty damn similiar!!
The legacy will live on, but the frontman and his zany ways I am sure will be sorely missed!
The dude actually cared about his niche, and his work. I honestly wish I could say I was as passionate about life in general, much less my work!
Good stuff dude, may another looney spring up to take your place!

    RIP Crocodile Hunter!

Arrow help keep the flame alive?

Steve Irwin was fun - his motives were honourable and his enthusiasm was inspiring

He probably did more to make the world aware of conservation issues in his 44 years
than many others have managed in much longer lifetimes

'RIP's are good and those in this thread are obviously heartfelt ........ but, as a more lasting tribute,
mebbe go to his website http://www.wildlifewarriors.org.au/ and make a small donation
to help continue the work he gave his life for?

    just a thought

Fair dinkum mate, but I think we got the "point" already.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
