i was suggesting it's not the plane - more the instructor - that will make the difference.

Planes are cool
But I think ships are just that much cooler.

Well there's a few aerobatic instructors at Whenuapai that seem to be quite good, I've flown with most of them as part of my PPL training (no aerobatics though). I'll try them and if that doesn't work too well I'll look around, don't think I'll need to though.
Also, there was, maybe still is, an agreement with North Shore for share of the airtourer, so I could probably use their instructors if I needed to.

Big Congrats to you man, excellent work.

Yeah... Climbs like a raped ape!!!
Hmm, has it been there for quite a few years?
I might have done an aero's session in it quite some time back. The pilot claimed he had a maneuvre "guaranteed to make you puke"... Who could refuse?
What a LAME excuse for a bet. It was pathetic. A good flight experience however!

an inverted spin, or multiple snap rolls, or the worst of all, the forward tumble - they'll all make you pretty unwell, but numerous 5g pullouts and push over loops will do it pretty quickly too
Looks like I'm going to do it at North Shore as I can't get an aerobatics rating through Whenuapai.
Probably going to do it in the C152A, as it's cheaper, although I could use the airtourer and an instructor from North Shore.
Thinking about doing a tailwheel C150 rating down at Mercer as well.
