    Shirriffs racing in Oz

Seen at www.mcnews.com.au, Craig Shirrifs is racing for the Team Yoshimura Suzuki squad in the Australian Supersport Championship this weekend.
It will be very interesting to see how he goes as most of the field will be starting from the same point of never having raced at Simmons Plains in Tassie.

It'll just be interesting seeing how the bloke setting the standard in NZ goes against the best in Oz. None of the other riders have the advantage of racing in Tassie before, so it's a reasonably level playing field. It's just a pity the gixxer is at the bottom of the developent curve....then again, if it was fully sorted they might not have needed him. All the same it's a huge opportunity for him.

    14th

14th place after first day, 10.5 seconds behind 1st place and 2.4 behind Sam Smith BUT, he got caught out with the weather and ended up trying for the time he did in wet conditions

Not good news on Ray Clee...

    Fm www.mcnews.com.au

"Ray Clee's big accident yesterday (Friday) was the major incident of the weekend thus far, it was big, amazingly he only really damaged his arm, but unfortunately that damage is major with apparently four separate breaks between the shoulder and elbow that will put him out of action for quite some time"

To add to that, seems former AU Supersport and Superbike Champion Adam Fergusson just had a huge off and has been carted away in an ambo. I can see Symmonds Plains going the same way as Wakefield Park did a couple of years ago... disappearing form the championship calender after one visit.

Because Y & H provide better support packages to teams and privateers in AU.

I have had the exact same damage to my left arm, takes around 4-6 months to heal properlly but, the nerve the controls your hand is wound around the humouris bone that he has busted to bits, that is the only scary thing to do with his injury, the surgeons have to physically move this nerve around a lot to get the bone plated back together properlly!

I was very lucky, as the surgeon that did my opp at the Isle of man was actually a Bomb fragmentation surgeon, so he was used to huge mess

    Heal up well Ray mate
