    Gsxr250

I hope to borrow my newphew's bike which is a GSXR250 4 cylinder 1990 model - that's all he knows about it. He said it needs new leads and a coil - which apparently the leads are joined to the coil. He's been quoted $250 for this.

    1. Is that a fair price
    2. can he get accessory parts?
    3. Or can I get one second-hand?

My own bike is still being assessed - and I got no wheels at all!

    Thx for any advice/opinions

ill come and talk to you bout this f you want

basically the gsf250 and possibly the gsx also are all in one coil packs (and apparently they all have the same problem)

ive also heard you can swap them for one from a honda (i dunno which model though)

im not sure on the price - if anything it sounds cheap but i never found out the actual price for them

if the coilpacks/ht leads are arcing on the frame/engine (can tell cos where it arcs to will be yellow or discoloured) then insulate it in shrink wrap/electrical tape etc.
