Sunday10/9/06 ChCh to Hanmer and some

There's a ride to Hanmer meeting at the Peg in Belfast at 10am Sunday 10 September 2006.
It's a Plains Club run but i'm sure they won't mind if we tag along.
Some will swim, some will eat pies (that's me, ill skip the swim and have a pie and maybe if they going to be a while in the pool there's that Jacks and Jollies Passes shingle to ride).
Then there's a wisper that if the weather is ok and people get keen we might find a long way home via Mt Lyford or even (but proberbly not) the other long way (via the West)... who knows... it will be a supprise, but some will no doubt just go straight home.

So there ya go, just thought i'd let ya know incase anyones at a loose end and looking to ride...and/or swim.

Cheers for that, i'll bookmark that calender... but where the heck is Richards Honda museum?? Is it out near Hororata by any chance? I'll take the road with more twistys to Hanmer over that (if it is)

Yeah dude, I think it is kinda out Hororata/Darfield way from what I have been told, could not be a much less exciting ride. I am keen to see the bikes this guy has, but at the same time, like you, some twistys are sure a tempter.

if this stuff shines.... mmmm which way...

It's all good but most if not everyone else will be sticking to sealed stuff this run.
