Blecht ... weather's looking like no-ride tonight? What happens when its like this, do we still meet up and just go to a pub? Would be nice to have a get together for end of year

Headed over the hill last night with Party Boy (LBTW) and the Tin Hut was closed

. The Red Pub (is that what its called?) was open with new ownership and was much the same as it has been. LOL...seems that 'skins' is Feathersonian for 'wedges'.

Yes the forecast says there will be a clear bit between the northerly moving off and the southery coming in late in the day . We might get lucky....I will watch the weather radar. If the weather is a bit dodgy how about a short ride to somewhere like the Sandbar (Mana) for a Xmas drink together??

I've just phoned TV3 and spoken to Toni Marsh. She says that there will be
rain, with heavy falls at first, easing to a few showers later this morning. She suggested that if I wanted to go for a ride I should try and get it in early evening because the wet stuff, as she puts it, will be returning to Wellington and the Wairarapa tonight at about bed time!
