Went over the Takas on saturday. Unfortunately in the cage, but they did appear to be greatly improved over what I heard. Most of the gravel on the feathers side appeared to have been "brushed" off the side of the road - there was shitloads of it though.

I can't come tonight but I'm sure it's going ahead. Weather like this it'll be a corker too.

I drove over the Takas Monday and the road was clean. There is a bit of mist drifting in around the hills. Otherwise a good night for a ride.
    Here for the ride.

Well, now we know it takes 20+ mins at (or around) the speed limit...on a GN250....
Another good night folks, great to meet up with the 'Rapa crew and enjoy some sunshine and the ambience of the Tin Hut's front lawn.

Was a Great night guys! I hated the bit where we put our gear on in a warm clear evening in the Rapa to volentarily drive over the hill into the darkness of rain.

Great ride, I definitely have to get new tyres!! First time for riding in such a big group - so not use to it. Been riding on my own too long. I had to stop on the takas and take my glasses off and got a hell of a shock when other riders stopped and asked whether I was ok. Thx for your concern, I'm just not use to that.

I really needed to get out on the bike and it was quite a last minute decision to go. Enjoyed myself and meeting other kb folk.
