Yep! I can confirm the Haywards is undergoing treatment of the gooey chip variety. Took a while to de-chip and de-tar the underside of the CB. Bloody stones get stuck in all sorts of nooks and crannies.

    See you all this evening.

I had to pull over directly after the roadworks and then spend half an hour getting the stones out of my drive belt and pulleys before I could carry on when I went out that way last night. Hopefully the belt isn't poked.

All that effort and the road surface is just as shitty as it was before, dips and bumps and corrugations everywhere. What a waste of time.

just went over there. About one k is being worked on right at the top of the hill. Few loose stones, no wet tar. its fine.
The real mystery is how come that fat bastard Hurley has never lost any weight.

Haywards has got new seal at the top, and the traffic banks up lots.

Other than that, i dont think Piekok hill has ever been soo clean!

Well in the end we did go do Paekak Hill via Haywards, (the new seal wasnt an issue) followed by a tootle around Greys Rd to the Sandbar. Good turnout too, considering the weather wasnt that flash. A couple of new faces, welcome along guys, particularly the discerning chap on the dark blue Tiger...nice bike!
