well technically each one of those expansion chambers will allow the exhaust gasses to expand, which causes the gasses to cool and slow down. Four strokes run alot hotter then two stokes and i bet that whole exhaust is nearly red hot while being raced, and the rider has to put his leg right there. Im picking its mostly for cooling and some noise reduction on the second one. Either that or they used a pulse jet to make the exhaust out of. It looks alot like one.![]()

Also a big thankyou to the guys who gave us a blat on the sidecars!! what a rush!!! A SERIOUSLY most excellent day out all round I'd say!!
