Now, after taping and zip-tying and de-trailering half a dozen bikes I sent the riders off in the direction of sign up.
While riders brief was going down I figgered WTF Im taking that awesome sounding NS400R or Stanko's for a strop down the road (didnt see that now did ya felix). Fuck it was cool, the sound and feel of a big block 2 stroker... kinda getting a soft spot for the out board motored bikes.
Ohh yeah then figgered as briefing was still going on I'd try Rashika's new steed... so off down the road again I went.

heres a few pics, not the flashest but hey I'm usually on the other end of the camera... speaking of which same goes for the speed trap... I'm definitely better on the other end as using the bloody thing isnt that easy.

Here's a few from me. The side car that set the world speed record was there- t'was pretty trick too! Note the expansion chambers- remember its a GSXR1000 engine.

Well the motor broke the record anyway the frame is new built for road racing. The record breaker's frame is very different.

Can anyone explain exactly what this setup does? I'm guessing its along the same lines as a 2 stroke expansion chamber, but then they have one for each cylinder and with this being a high reving four I would've thought that the pressure waves would be overlapping and making it very difficult to tune???

Looks just like a standard aftermarket exhaust pipe to me.

I turned up after lunch ont he new GSR600 - fantastic bike. Met up with a few guys at Sportszone and took a wee tiki tour to the track. I managed to take a couple of photos but I must say it is better in and around the track instead of with the spectators for photos! I am so proud of SpeedyGirl, she one a brand new HJC Helmet for being rider of the day. When I took her to get her prize they told her that she had made an obvious improvement thoughout the day!! You go girl

(A= passing anywhere, B= passing on outside of bends or on straights, C= passing on straights only.)
I counted 48, then they just kept arriving on the dummy grid so I gave up)

I'm thinking that the 1st chamber is de3signed as a megaphone and the 2nd more for silencing... the over all length is for top end power... just my thoughts, bloody well done either way

What an awesome day!! I think i was out for 7 sessions in total, totally wiped out that night. The Buell was good but I couldn't get the feel of it on saturday, not sure why? Could have been that I was just keen to get out on the LC (henceforth to be affectionately know as 'Elsie') and just was too focused on one bike to ride both given how different they are.

So the most of the day was just on Elsie...and she was an absolute BLAST!!! I think she is gonna be an awesome bike to race in Pre 82.
Will have to work on the takeoffs tho, as she need a bit of stick to get her off the mark, but once off she just flies!
I found myself in B class at times, chasing a lot of waaaay bigger bikes through the corners, even gaining on a few, who then left me for dead on the main straight...ah well ya get that when having a Busa in front of you and only 250 cc beneath (tho damn quick 250cc I must say). Cant believe I actually caught up to him at first, must be a new rider i guess, and that is one BIG baby to be tossing around the corners.

Guess a moment of the day was sneaking my way between Speedy and Tuono down the main straight (see suziqs pic above...I was just working on my approach!) ...hehehe...one day I wont be able to do that Speedy!!

Big thanks to the organisers, Canty MC and sportzone, nice to meet up with another local on a new Firebolt, will have to send him info on KB now.

The sidecar was sold to a guy with no legs in the USA, last week he had his first run in it at Bonnieville and ran at 271kmh

Well a NS400 is no nifity fifity or RD200, so as far as I'm concerned a 400, 500, 750cc is big for a two stroke, but you knew what the hell I ment.
