I was always told that if an engine has a good spark, fuel and compression it WILL run. Also if your cheacking the spark outside of the engine (as you do) it can be sparking alright but when its in it just ain't enough. So... new fuel, new plugs and check your compression. of course it won't run if it is siezed or somthing is majorly wrong.

What year is the motor? Are you sure the fuel is getting thru?

    go through your ABC's mate.
Fuel--is it getting to the motor?--clean the carb out and make sure the fuel tank is above the carb
Air.Make sure the motor can breath
Spark--make sure theres a big fat spark
    Compression -no compression no go
Word of warning dude--GN250 motors mounted behind the cart driver is likely to cook up on ya

    I can't remember from my GN, but..er

doesn't the clutch have to be pulled in?
Also, some models (but not most nz ones) came with a side stand cut out too.

Why a gn250 motor? you can't make a go kart with one of those it would be more like a stop kart.....

But as the others said, check the fuel air spark and compression...
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
