Don't like Unions and lefties? Don't vote Labour.

Don't like swivel-eyed Christian loons? Don't vote National.
Actually, the Brethren pamphlets merely questioned Labour's moral and political values. It didn't say anything about National - indeed the campaign could equally be said to have supported United Future and Act. So it wasn't National advertising by stealth - that was a pure political beatup by Labour trying to distract from their own problems.

I thought we lived in an open democracy - freedom of speech and all that. Silly me.

Its funny how national does one little thing wrong and its game over, yet labour can get away with Murder.

I profess to knowing diddly squat about politics, and my general attitude toward it, reflects this. However, the business round table seems to carry the largest influence in this arena, and anything peripheral to it, that comes as an annoyance to the core focus, and gets legislated out of the way, so the fiscal train may roll on.

Do not misinterpret my rather glib summary, making money is a good thing, and I don't for one minute begrudge those who have gotten of their chuffs to make a bob or two more than some of us. I do however pour scorn on any government that bows directly to outside financial pressure, when making decisions that should be affecting the people as a whole, not little niche groups who provide "support" for the party campaign.

There are mass graves of starry eyed idealists on the grounds of parliament, you cannot be a man/woman of the people anymore, you will simply get eaten alive. For this reason, I have to respect anyone who makes in politics as being a "tough bastard/bitch".

Please, don't profess to know things you may not and by so doing cast aspersions on the reputation of others. Even if it is our beloved prime minister.

That is why I am not posting details of anything. And certainly not on KB (liability, etc, etc.).
Hopefully our beloved media do their job and find out the facts, then present them for the public to make up its own mind. Hopefully our population remembers everything that this gubbinment has done, during their terms in office, when they are in the polling booth. Tui moment here...
