    More updated 60s hits

I posted a few a while back. Heres some more. ( I know Hitcher enjoys these)

Some of the artists of the 60s are revising their hits with new lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers. They include:

Herman's Hermits -- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker

The Bee Gees -- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip

Bobby Darin -- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash

Ringo Starr -- I Get By With a Little Help >From Depends

Roberta Flack --The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face

Johnny Nash -- I Can't See Clearly Now

Paul Simon -- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

The Commodores -- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom

Marvin Gaye -- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts

The Temptations -- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone

    Abba -- Denture Queen

Tony Orlando -- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall

Helen Reddy -- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore

Willie Nelson -- On the Commode Again
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Snapped!!
To be forgiven you have to run the length of Cashel St in your boxers AND provide video proof...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Gahhh! That accent still rings in my ears:

Delta Dawn what's that flower you have orn
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you sigh he was meeting you hear todie
To take you take you to his mansion in the sky...

Some of them are a bit new sounding.

Although when courting C.B. in '73 the sounded pretty trendy

Mind you I use to drink more and the lyrics would have sounded right.

Like:"I woke this morning half asleep, with all my blankets in a heap,
and naked women scattered all around meee-eeee,"

I think the chorus line was 'the power of the rain..'
