    Rmx Oil Seal Replacement

Hi new member here i own a 92-96 Suzuki Rmx250 which i have recently stripped to have the frame bead blasted zinc coated and then powder coated i also replaced pison, rings, gaskets just got it all wof'd and rego and have noticed after riding to work i have a mild leak from both the sprocket and kickstart oil seals and was wondering if it was a engine out job and split the crank to replace or just a case of taking the side casings off and prying out the old ones and pressing in a new set i hope it's the later as i dont feel like ripping the engine out again so soon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated p.s if there is anyone on here with a e-manual for the rm/rmx 92-96 that i could obtain that would be awsome.

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah easy as, the old ones can be extracted out, worse case carefully drill & wind in self tapper screw & pull on that. Put some grease on the new seal inner & tap into place. Ideally squarely & without denting it (a bit of long tube is best to push on the outer of the seal.

Some Suzis have a bush over the shaft on the sprocket; if so pull this out to make it easier but check behind as there is a o-ring. That will need replacing.
