Hi what would cause the powervalve to get stuck closed on a rmx250?

lack of maintenance.

Be thankful the rivets didn't fall apart & the whole plot fall into the piston.

Managed to get the valve up via exhaust port seems like its broken big time as it was real stiff and i can hear a slight knocking noise coming from the area gonna pull the barrel off at the same time as doing the seals to check what damage is done.

I think that they can crack of something liek teh KDX ones? Could be waaaay wrong on that one though......

I got heaps of RM 250 bits, but teh 96 RMX is totally different. I've got a manual though.

hey cheese what year is your RM?? you wouldnt have a spare 97 RM250 exhaust lying around would ya??
