North Waikato Tiki Tour (17th)
Ah, fate smiles upon me again and I get a leave pass for a Sundays trolling around the back roads of the sunny Waikato (or wet, if it pisses down).
Meet on main rd just south of Tuakau, heading towards the bridge to Port Waikato @ 9:30am.
I'm staying the night on the Awhitu peninsula, so will aim for a 9:45 take off in the morning and head down the mighty 22, to Narawahia, to Gordonton and Morrinsville, then back via the route of the recent Rusty Nuts 350 to SH22 and Kaiaua for a pie, then up the Pohututukawa coast for Akl.
~300kms riding I reckon, but a lot of twisties in that ride.
