South Auckland Thursday Night Ride

I was just in the city - brilliant sunshine then on the motorway back to Manukau it just pissed down from Papatoetoe and now I'm here in Manukau where it's just stopped raining and the sun came out... and I see more dark clouds on the horizon. Is anyone else sick to death of this fucking changeable weather?

I don't think I'll be in tonight because of the weather - I don't mind rain or wet roads, but the dry to wet to dry to wet pisses me off. I'll see what it's like in half an hour, then in another half hour...

Just the three of us... we can make it if we try... hmmmm something's not quite right there...

Anyhoo... not too bad - some drizzle with patches of rain, dry sections of road from Kawakawa Bay through to Kaiaua and a good feed of fush & chups at Kaiaua. Uneventful ride back along SH2. Beats staying at home in slippers knitting...

Damn and double damn, I'm coaching Table Tennis for my school at the moment and I don't finish till 7.30pm

Good to see the hard yards are still being made, next term when all is done and dusted with my extra curricular commitments, I'll be making up the numbers

Feck. I can't make it for a 6pm start tomorrow - even 7pm would be pushing it timewise for me at this stage.

I'll check in pre-lunch (probably won't be near a computer after that) to see who has committed and see if I can't juggle my schedule to make it - trouble is the ball is in someone else's court regarding that.

Someone PM me their cell number and I'll let you know if I'm going to get there but just be a little late and you can let me know where you're going if you can't wait. Kaiaua is probably out - I think the Kawakawa Bay-Clevedon Road is still blocked by that Monday slip until Friday, isn't it?
