Awesome - bring it. I'm out for this Thursday though. I'm going to the Training Day on Saturday and have no number plate or rearview mirrors on the bike at the moment and it's going on the trailer tomorrow seen as I am too much of a girl to get it on myself, I'm enlisting the help of burly men!
Burn the rubber not your soul baby!
Where'd you two get too? we went left and straight ahead, I saw your lights coming our way then nothing! LOL, hope you both got home safe and sound, see you next week.Jafar took us out this really old steep goat track that only his chook chaser could handle, the poor old bro inlaw (another back to riding older dude) had hells own job keeping it on the tar seal.
but a great ride out in the south West. brilliant night and great company as always, cheers guys. Till nest week.
Ps; Where the hell have all our guys and gilrs gone, it's the best riding weather ever andyour'e staying home in droves, oh well. More road for us, I guess.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
I tried catching up with you guys tonight but left late and after taking a wrong turnoff only arrived at Autobahn at 1850. Set off hoping to catch up with you guys.Turned off at Matasomethingor other, then headed for Miranda, then kiauaua . Thought I had found you guys at Kiauaua pub , when I saw 2 cruisers, 1 orange chopper and an orange 250 Hyosung leaving. Asked the Hyosung rider if he was with the South Akld Thursday night ride to which he only replied they where heading back to Akld . I said I would head back via Kawakawa Bay and he said lots of gravel Nth of Kaiuaua and to dangerous. So I said I would follow them back.
Got tired of them riding so slow with a black Transam up my jacksie so stopped and did a U turn and went back via Kawakawa Bay,Clevedon , stopping at Whitford for dinner as I was cold and starving. The gravel just north of Kiauau was interesting in the dark. My hands froze in my summer gloves ( winter gloves returned to bike shop for warranty claim) to unfeeling stumps , combined with headlights not so good on tight corners made for an interesting ride home.
So all was not lost, got home safely, practiced some night riding. Hopefully will catch up with you guys someday.
We do the ridebefore pub and beer
as me and old guy did . Once we got out of pub you guys did not communicate
with as so we assume you guys go home so we just gone home me and old guy
. It was so cold so I got behind old guy hoping for some heat from Buell but he didn't keep me warm .
yeah i was working till about 9 last night, mutter mutter, guess it will be dark when we start riding soon. And cold, must be about time i invest in some winter gloves. i put a post on the east auckland riders group telling people to come down but i think that group is a bit of a non event.
Sorry for the confusion on my part guys,:slap: my riding wasn't up too it, i miss having those nice lines to follow.![]()
Anyway cheers guys, it was nice to get out for a ride and usual B.S. at the pub, not sure about next week will play it by ear.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
