from sth auckland it looks like rotorua, tauranga; perhaps even the Coro will be the best bet
lots of good roads to choose

Roger that, keen to explore the twisty's anywhere down that way.
Wot ewe Old Guy? Neva! go have yer hearties and get a warm cuppa soup down ya, yer'll be alright for the morning!
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Been raining pretty heavily on and off here in Pukekohe for the last half hour. MetService paints a better picture than looking out the window does.
Hmmm who to trust :-)
Ahh the weather.
The online weather forecasts all still suggest showers clearing with the best weather around the Rotorua area.
Bugger it, I have a pass out for the day so I'll be there but may delay the off till 9.30
I'll bring a good map book and my iphone (for weather forecasts) so we? can plan the dryest route at the Autobahn
looks like this is just a passing shower band, aw hell bike needs a bath and rain is character building...I'm still in..
I'm definitely in: I'll get out to the Autobahn and have breaky.
Most of the regional forecasts toward east Waikato and nth BOP seem to suggest that showers will clear. That's good enough for me but a delay of half and hour or an hour might be smart too.
Wadda y'all reckon?
Aim for a 10am departure?
I'm keen as and I'm not scared of the rain but it is absolutely bucketing down again in Puke at the mo (I thought it had started to clear 10 mins ago)
See you there then, im seeing blue bits breaking through out botany way, but theres a big nasty black patch in behind it coming from Pukekohe way..Im gonna give it 20 mins and then head to the autobhan for caffine.
