Coldest Thursday night ride I have been on for a fair while..... the roads were not as dry as I expected in some places, deep gravel in others...and fog made it interesting too but still a good night

I'll second that! Deep loose and widely spread metal is a real hazard for us road going motorcyclists, OL Bass had no worries on his GS Goat, but me, well, um suffice to say we had a wee clenche or two going through that lot.
Nice to finally get a ride in guys and always good fun to ride with you crazy buggers.
OI, Lethal, get that bloody fire stoked up will ya, slacker.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

    Cmon it wasn't that cold

shoulda followed leathel home, it was a nice night, easily coulda ridden further.

didnt fog up on the way home.

did show my lack of riding (rusty as) and lack of ride fitness.
and I need to do something else with the screen..... too much noise from buffeting

nice warm and friendly stop as usual

I wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't wear jeans to work that don't fit under the leathers...... a layer under the leathers would have been warmer

Aye. Same. Thighs were cold when I got home. Didn't notice while pootling along.

Just like long distance riding. It's not till you stop and get off that you start to notice your body. Lack of fluids. Cold. Stiffness etc

    Excuses, excuses!
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

yep drowning at work, just getting deeper every week........ but I am not complaining. Better than less than 20 hours a week.

I know your feeling, sometimes you need a break.
