Hi guys, was nice to come along tonight and meet y'all.

I could only stick around until about 7 (which was convenient because that's when I lost sight of the main pack anyways) but still had a bit of fun.

You guys ride really well, will come along again and fish for some tips.

Din, I saw you do some sort of move to spin your bike around 180 degrees when we were leaving the BP Autobahn, would like to see how that was done too!

    Cheers

Any light sports bike hold the front and the back tip it on the side stand (lifting both wheels off the ground) and spin

Nice of you to come even for bit of ride, main thing is (if you come next time) do your own ride and don't try to keep up with main pack or anyone and don't look what other rider doing . They will wait for you at end of the road so no rush and don't get intimidated by group ride. If you learning this guys will have lot tips to show you, just ask , I'm still learning and I always will .

Hey guys! Good ride! no rain and only a couple of dodgy patches.
WOW! I love the fact that there are so many cool back roads right on 'my doorstep'.

Yep the first part of the ride was definately a bit faster LOL. sweetas, mucho fun But it was also kinda pleasant to slow down a bit after missing a few turns (oops!) and just sit back and enjoy the scenery
Thats the great thing about this part of the country, if ya miss a turn ya just take the next one and eventually the roads loop around and ya end up somewhere that you actually recognise hahahahaha

Nice to finally stop and sit n chat at the Muddy where the locals were putting on a bit of a floor show!

Great to meet you guys, see ya again soon

I managed to get out last night after finishing some jobs I had to get done.
I headed out to Kawakawa and Kaiaua and got back before it was completely dark.

saw just one bike (coming the other way) and obviously took a different path than the team

see you on the weekend or next week.

Din, Hope I don't miss next weeks ride as its your last.
I do have a trip to Nelson next week but dunno what day yet

LOL I know yer not pushing it mate, just me, as always taking the piss,.I'll be there on Thursday mate, come hell or high water, you re not leaving us without the regulars seeing you off.
Leg fine, foot and lawn mower had a small unengined arguement, mower won, foot lost big toe nail and looks a funny colour now, didn't want to go in boot last time I tried, got to end of North Western and turned around and came home, too much brain ache!
Enjoy the weekends riding mate and well said to the newbies on last nights ride.
it's the best advice there is."RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE" there is no requirement to keep up with the main group, we always have a TEC. You can't get lost,(um, unless of course yer being lead by that Din bloke!@#$% he he sorry mate couldn't resist) just enjoy the ride and relax, thats what the SATNR is all about, a fun ride a few yarns and bevvies afterwards and a pleasant trip home.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

    Thats it in a nutshell!

Personally I like a bit of pace so was quite happy with the first half of the ride
But just as happy to cruise for a bit and actually look around and think to myself "what a beautiful bit of countryside".

I'm told it was a relatively small group last night, only 6 of us, that suited me just fine cos other than my buddy derek I had never ridden with any of the guys before. A good time had by all

We were going to, but seeing as I only have two weeks left of work, decided to save a bit of money and do the Coro loop instead. Should be there next week so we can say bye to you.

    Fortnightly Adventures

Damn, that was a doozy last night! I know you don't like leading, Din, but you did a good job of it last night. Excellent road choices and a good distance too. Sharper would be proud!

Nice to meet some more new faces last night. That's a mighty fine looking Buell you got there, Buellbabe, love the paintjob. Hope we see you and Derek again. Also hope we see more of the old faces again one of these days...

Grasshopperus (and Sl8er4lyf if you come along next week), don't ever worry about 'losing' the front runners, they always wait at the next intersection. Besides, I, and any other 2fiddies/cruisey riders, will enjoy the company. Take note of what Din and Caseye say — Ride Your Own Ride. It's very important. Just enjoy the ride, the scenery and the tasty back roads at your own pace. All good.

Sure thing guys, I think I knew I wasn't going to keep up as soon as I saw the pack take that first left turn off the Ramarama offramp

In anycase, I wasn't about to push my limits.

Cheers all, will try and get the travel-card stamped by the wifey for next Thursday.
