Just FYI, there is a Honda Riders Club ride leaving Botany Honda at 6.30pm going to Kaiaua. Don't know route tonight, but they usually go thru Maraetai-Clevedon etc.

Try between 5-8000 km a week for two years solid. Thats where I have been and I know for a fact that Mr III has done a shit load more than that when he lived in the UK.

Was a good ride last night, a bit long, and fast for me, but all in all a good ride, will try and sort a new route for next week and hope we get a few more come along.
May end up running too groups, not everyone wants to travel at warp speed, will see who turns up next week.

Oh Dover, your more than welcome to come along.

i was gonna say the same thing but given that i'm kinda out of favour at the mo, i might have been punished.

as a bike courier in pomgolia i managed to clock up 95,000 miles, yes miles, not those girly kilometre things, all in one year.

I was a long distance courier based in Caerdif and the bike was a Guzzi Monza 500.

As for almost 400km EVERY day here in NZ? Nope, I'm an ex courier, no need to waste my time and wear out my bike for groceries now. I ride for fun and that is just what I had last night.

    Thanks again guys and gal

yeah Dai, as you know, i would have done about 600km per day on average but on those awful trips from Cardiff to Yorkshire or from Cardiff to Haggisland, a days ride may have been up to 1000 MILES!

and he told ME to get hard?

anyway, i still gotta buy oldguy a beer for letting me use one of his worms to fix my flattie
