came back today, yesterday I wouldn’t have made it wind too strong, some of the gusts, whew.
despite the wind gusts, hail x 2, rain, the usual knumbnuts as you get closer to akl
only saw 1 car in ditch, and another set of ambo, police etc going to another event.

    cold fingers.

    all good.
    Ha! so you in tomorrow?
    te he he.
Got an absolute beginner to show the ropes tomorrow, could do with a hand.
And it'd be good to catch up.

If its not raining then yes.

    Nice easy ride then.
Will have to get shit together tonight for NI800 ride on weekend.

I think I will take extra fuel in case I make a mistake in fuel /distance calc.

Still had a smile on my dial, today.

The sun strike was glorious, but seeing the blacktop was difficult.

Nice run, once the Happy Birthdays had finished, it was great.

    A quiet run back.
Had forgotten about Ratbags' fav part.

Whats up with motorway lights not on?

Or the car with only front park lights on?

    All good

Hey me ol mate, yah still out there holding the fort As you may know I got both bikes back. Got the Honda back a week after it disappeared, and the WR about 2 weeks before we went into level 4 lockdown. Both bikes needing a little bit of work, to put back on the road (legally) The Honda came back minus, 1 muffler no battery, wrecked ignition barrel, gas cap and rear seat lock, and missing number plate. I was very lucky to get a ignition barrel and gas cap with the matching key through a guy in the U.S. I had brought a new set of tyres , the plan is to get the rims painted or powdercoated, but nothing has happened as I suffer from rare condition called lack of motivation.

The WR needing fork seals, indicators x4, rear tail and stop light, rear tyre and rego plate. Ive fitted a new rear tyre and brought new fork seals and that's as far as I've got, that lack of motivation again

So dont know when Ill be back out riding with yah.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
