I've had a pair of Sidis for 5 years and they still work. They were sold as waterproof but they've never been that so I use them as a summer boot. The other day I broke the zip pull thing but a bit of wire keeps it going. They are nearing the end of their life.

If you want a boot that will last then look at www.altberg.co.uk

I've had the all weather hoggs for 5 years as a winter boot. If I polish them up they look brand new. The only drawback is they make to order and the waiting list can be long, 5 months in my case.

What brand is the zip? YKK for instance have lifetime warrenties on their zips. Also was it the distributor or manufacturer who turned you away. There is a difference.

I want a pair of Sidi Discoveries. Best dual purpose boot I've been able to find. Just trying to justify the $500 price tag is a bit hard currently.

I'm guessing you dropped out of school? I mean, there must be some reason that you're so incredibly bad at articulating yourself.

Yeah I did drop out. And yeah I cant articualte or spell. Or even clap in time.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Download Firefox version 2. It has an inbuilt spell checker.

Fair enough, thought you might get some value from having a spell checker built into KB, I know I do

No no, this is client side, not server side. It's built into Firefox version 2. It's just like using word... when you are typing in the message box, all your mistakes are underlined with a red dotted line It works for every forum that you use, because Firefox knows when you need it I'm super serial brother, it's the business

Anyway, I've had a pair of Sidi Vertabra race boots for 3 yrs now, get daily use and other than me ripping the interior lining once have proved faultlessly.

got my boots back from the cobbler

Okay got my boots back this morning from the cobblers, they did a fantastic job, as far as the zips are concerned they are as good as new. Why sidi can't fit quality zips to their boots is beyond me.

With any luck I'll get another couple of years out of them, it wasn't a cheap fix but it was cheaper then new boots.

For the record Gemmells on Symonds Street did the work, fitted YKK zips and was $300 cheaper then a new pair!!
