Hi Shirl..
I understand your frustration at this dilemma..but in 15 years & 45ish rallies under my belt, I have found that it is generally stock standard to charge the same entry fee for 'visitors' as it is for full rally goers.. sometimes, they actually charge more!!
Their efforts taken, & the expense at putting a rally on, needs to be shared equally among the people attending.. for everyones enjoyment universally.. whether you are there for 2 hours, or 2 days. It still costs the same to run the event. And running rallies ain't cheap!!!

I am involved in a club that organises a yearly bike rally. This year will be number 5 (I think..) Each year we try to make an effort to improve on the year before's effort. This usually requires money, & I guess that if someone is coming in to enjoy our rally, then they need to pay to enjoy it, & not just enjoy it at other peoples expense.. ie: those who have paid full price to be there for the whole weekend.
Hopefully next year you might be able to go to the rally for the whole weekend, & enjoy it as much as we all did..it was a great rally & very well organised.!! would be xlnt to have another member to add to the KB family too!!!
