    Wanganui 2006

Got the entry form and supplementary regs from the Wanganui Club today. Though a few people might be interested, so I've posted them on the Vic Club site.

If only I could race, would love to again, but alas no, someone has to keep the lights going. Next year maybe.

    Just reading the regs:
Super Motard machines shall elect to ride in one of the following Classes, F3, BEARS, (If Eligible) or Super Motard. Final eligibility decisions rests with the organisers, whose decision shall be final.

Very interesting. That will rip a few motards up. Wonder what class they will all decide to ride in. Might hit the F3 numbers a bit.

    Also this bit:
    Super Motard riders please Note:
There is a possibility that a dirt section may be added to this years Super Motard Races.

Maybe shortcut it through the cemetary? Jump a few grave stones maybe???

heard the off road bit would be down in the train yard - where the pits used to be. a short cut through the cemetery would be cool, but somehow i don't think that would go down too well

Yeah that is sometimes a problem with motards. I'm sure they will make it as safe as possible cause I know you wouldn't be the only rider complaining if that was the case. Will have to see how they set it up. Normally they make the transition on a side road that isn't used as part of the main track to keep the dirt as far away as possible from the track.

WTF? I've been planning to do Wanganui for ages. I don't race competitively anymore but I would like to do Wanganui for a bit of fun cause I haven't done it before (I've only done Paeroa BOS). That's the only reason I'm racing next month. To get a feel for race pace again.

I think you have to do at least 3 race meetings this season before you can enter in wanga's?? I'm sure someone told me that....might pay to check it out...

I stand corrected... Im not sure if its this season, or in your race license period - would be good to know the answer too.
