    Hey there (Lissa)

Hi guys/gals, wasnt sure if I should introduce myself as of yet, as I don't actually own any bikes (except a four wheeler - woot). I would love to own my own road bike, something I have thought about for years, but only now just getting around to doing. I used to go riding (on the back) with friends, but now I am going to have to get one for myself. I bikes what more can I say.

Texmo started on a scoot but now he's a real man with a Gixxer.

My personal opinion is that a decent 150 would be a good bike to start.
The places to do the basic handling test usually supply you with a bike to do the test on, but I'm pretty sure that they also offer a first time lesson and test all in one, would cost you more but it'll allow you to get the very limited basics as well as the basic handling certificate which is what you need to get before you can take your theory learners.

Welcome to the site, hopefully you'll be able to find whatever info you're after.
