If you look up top right corner, just below your name it says private messages, click on that and a new screen will come up showing you your messages. You can send poeple a message, bit like an email and they can send you back.

Also if you right click (?I think...I'm on a mac) on the name, (or click and hold on a mac) on the name of the person (next to the message they wrote), it will bring up a drop down box and you can PM them that way too, and see a few other things they may have done as well.

    have fun!

Yup, get it quite often from non-motorcyclists. "Oh, so you're a dyke?" - funny how they don't say that when I'm with my husband! It's almost like they take one look at me, think "there's no way that chick would be interested in me because she obviously has an interesting life" and therefore they decide I must be a lesbian and it doesn't matter that they are boring, ugly individuals, THAT is why I don't fancy them!

Hell, I'm happily married and wouldn't be interested even if I drove a Viva and wore twin sets and pearls!

Even my brother, who was a motorcyclist for many years himself, told my mother he thought I was a lesbian! After she snorted coffee down her nostrils she said "whatever gave you that idea?" To which he replied "well, look at her. She has her hair cut short, she rides a motorcycle and she wears Doc Martens!" I told a mate that and he slapped his forehead and said "shit, I have short hair, I ride a motorcycle and I wear Doc Martens - all these years I've been a lesbian and I never knew it! How could I be so blind, I even fancy women!"

It used to bother me, not because I am anti-gays, but because I hate people making assumptions about me. Now I just laugh and say "if you were the only alternative mate, I'd have to be a lesbian!"
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Oh yeah, nothing hotter than a womam who can ride and ride well. I ride a lot with my mate Serena and she cops it a bit. She's a pretty competitive rider and when its all on she's a real challenge to keep up with.

I think people who say biker chicks are lesbians are just jealous (Not that theres anything wrong with being lesbian).

I'm teaching my wife to ride over summer and can't wait till we can hit the streets together.

The problem I get is not that people think I'm a lessie or bi, is that they think I'm a MAN! With my boots, leathers, helmet, gloves, nothing about this atire allows people to even think that I may be female, As well as people assuming that all bikers must be male. I've had young drunk chicks waving out to me while standing on a corner, I was on my way home from work on Friday night. I just wanted to run them over, but I didnt want to wreck my bike.

Yeah i thought of getting something pink, like a pink jacket or helmet, but then they would think i'm a gay man. lose-lose situation here, I'd rather be a man.
