US-style combined tail light & indicators - legal or no?

I'm thinking of fitting this. Ditch the indicators and just have combined tail / brake & turn indicators as one LED unit. The LTSA guidelines refer to these (American style integrated brake / indicator lights), and only require that the indicators take precedence over tail light, brake lights over rule indicators etc, which this unit seems to do perfectly.

Has anyone (like a bike certifier) have any knowledge of fitting these?

Fitted my second one to a bike, and haven't had issues yet.

The jury is out, a lot of wof places are sceptical, and if they think it might not pass, then they won't let it pass, if you know what I mean.

Some have said they have had trouble, I haven't, and have been followed by cops, etc, with no issues. Only other law I have come across is that the indicators must been seen from 45 degrees... or something like that.

Perfectly legal.....and if they give you any shit about the tailight not having the right numbers on it tell them to go re-read the book,i have an extreme graphic undertray with leds on my TL,at first the local Suzuki shop wouldnt give me a warrant so i went to the Kawasaki place and he did,a few months later i got a ring from the mechanic at the suzuki shop telling me he had made a mistake and has quite happily given me warrants since,Just watch it with that though as in some units the indicators are not that bright and with car drivers you need all the help you can get.

I've just put one on my ZX10R and to be honest, it's way more effective than the stock 'pimple' indicators. And does it look cool or what!
