The single malt peated Connemara....from the Cooley Distillery...is up there and has taken several judgings against the Scotches

Finished the Banahabbain and just opened the MacKillops choice Bowmore 1990.....BLAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH Has some weird sour taste, nothing like regular Bowmore. Do not be tempted to try this one.

Monday the 15th March, evening, I get off the ferry about 6pm, check into a hotel still to be decided, then.... a feed and couple of relaxing drinks at a quieter establishment? Any suggestions for a hotel and quiet bar an easy walk from each other?

Does not need to be in the citi center....but I need to be in the Hutt late next morning and would rather not double back.
