    Hey hey (Mole_C)

Hey everyone, i just bought my first bike and got it on friday
Got myself a ZXR 250, got a few scratches but hey, so much more fun to ride it around than my car

Been reading through the forums to try learn faster and found heaps of useful info on countersteering, clutchless shifting and general stuff so thanks to you all

I got my leathers 2day and there bloody hard so any info on softening them up would be good. I searched and found about soaking them, hair drying them and snow seal so any more recomendations so i can move properly would help.

Anyway, im gonna start riding into uni soon as i cant afford the bus after buying all this stuff so if anyone sees a guy in blue, black and white leather on a black zxr thats me. And yes i know i look like a power ranger in my gear but hey, its all part of the fun

    welcome mole_c
just keep up with some wax on the leathers and they will soften.

wear the jacket every day even if not riding, and soon enough it will be softer than a soft thing .. its all part of the fun of breaking in new gear (bought myself a new jacket yesterday myself )

Sweet as! Just remember to buy a good lock for the bike so the bastiches who are too lazy to get a bike the honest way are deterred. I remember my time at Uni when student's bikes were being nicked left right and center

Enjoy your ride and keep it rubber side down!
