eek Hi everyone, introducing Blueskies . . .

    Hello all you KBer's
I have been enjoying this great site for a few weeks now as a L plate Rider (took me a while to figure that one out, hey Spank Me ?) and thought I better intro myself to y'all.
I am definitely an OLDER rider . . . a Granny no less. Last year I bought myself a Suzuki GN 250 as a Chrissy pressie. Never ridden a motorcycle before, but was GIVEN my motorcycle license at age 16 when I sat for and passed my driver's license. The traffic officer said "Do you want your motorcycle license too ? " I said " Yes please ". That was it. A bit different now, right ?
    Back to last Christmas.
How hard can this be, I thought. Can't be hard, I thought, totally unprepared for the sheer terror that little bike inspired when the dealer drove off and LEFT ME WITH IT. All 130kgs of shiny new 250 Suzuki GN.
Anyways - I went out (eventually) and learned to ride it.
    Warkworth area.
Fear, Frights and finally Fun ! ! ! Hooked forever, for sure.
Now have ordered my next bike . . . a Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Arriving December. Whoopee ! ! Another christmas present for Grandma ! ! !
    ( Anyone want to buy a Suzuki GN ? ! ? ! ? )

    Welcome to KB.

I'm looking at buying a GN250 within a few months, send me a PM when you're thinking of selling it.
