When Christoph Ragona's silver Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was stolen, he was delighted to hear that the police had found it in a parking lot and had moved it to the local impound lot. But before Ragona, of Oak Ridge, New Jersey could collect the bike, it was stolen again… from the police impound lot!
Embarrassed police said that the fence securing the impound area had been cut and manipulated to open up a four-by-two foot hole. The motorcycle has now been entered into the National Crime computer system and detectives along with the county prosecutor's office are investigating the theft.
A case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, if you ask me.
