    Torque - The Movie

Anyone seen it? My flatmate got it out on DVD. It's produced by the same guys who made XXX and The Fast and The Furious.

Got some amazing stunt riding in it too! The best part was the Aprilia RSV 1000 being chased by the Triumph Daytona 955i. (You could tell what they were courtesy of the multitude of closeups of the bike graphics, and the "gangland" characters wearing matching branded race leathers) Anyway, they get to jump these two superbikes onto a moving passenger train that has aluminium skinned carriages, racing across the roofs jumping from carriage to carriage.

Then there's the "carbon fibre" bike that's "powered by a helicopter engine" and "goes from 0-200km/hr in 10 seconds".

I'm not quite sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but that bike does actually exist. Its the Y2K made by an outfit in the states. Comes with a 400km/h guarrantee- no one has claimed the money back!! Jay Leno has one, and I believe theres a couple of threads on it round here somewhere

PS I quite liked the movie- of course its not real life, what'd be the point of hollywooding it up then? You dont go to the flicks to watch some guys boring life story do ya now?

The only part of that movie thats any good is where Martin Henderson embarrasses those clowns racing their cars. The rest of the movie was a load of crap.

    The blond chick was hot.

The some of the riding scenes through the winding desert roads were cool.

Mostly I just liked the blond chick.

I only got this far twice then had to go for a ride.

I like the bit with the geeky harley rider too. That was funny.

Hmmmm... Not a bad movie (assuming you have enough beer).
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Tragic movie but good for a laugh. It would have been better if the blonde chick took her top off.

I believe the bike exists, it's just the way thet were talking about it. What got to me was the animated right angle turn the "hero" did. Looked like something out of Batman. The movie was entertaining in it's own right, but I expected it to be better especially after the opening chase scene.
