With Labout (that's not a typo just another playon words) down 5 points in the polls I will concede it was a hollow victory.

How does Clark get 1 and Don get 0 today/tonight?

It's been 7 years since we seen National pass Labour, yet alone rocket past Labour. and you think it's Clark 1, Don 0.

In my eyes, you're either a) Plainly a fucken idiot
or b) got a weird sense of humour!

Tonight/Last night & Tomorrow Night is clearly Nationals Night!!!

& it's only gonna get better!

It affects whether you will persist on riding over speed limits, how often and where and when you'll wheelie, How much money it will cost to fill your tank and when you'll be upgrading your bike.

My biggest regret is not studying Politics at university, I would have loved to be involved in the shit slinging going on these days.

    Let me explain

Clark has diverted Labour's overspending at the expense of Brash's affair.

National and the xclusive Bretheren while not exactly in the same bed are certainly in the same bedroom.

The xclusive Bretheren hired a detective to find out dirt on Labour that National would have expolited for their own political ends.

The private detective denies that he is working for the Bretheren then the next day admits that he is. Any information that he has gathered is now suspect beause of the lie.

National now can not use this info because the detective is unrealiable.

As a result National now ditch the Bretheren and want no association with them.

    So I was wrong.

    Clark 2
    Brash 0

I never was any good at maths.

Those are the facts but you fail to take into account the emotional component. Nats now get the sympathy vote for trying hard eg trawling thru the reds rubbish but not quite scoring.

Brash gets to look far more interesting than the gray suited economist he is. We now see him as a man able to simultaneously plot with an interesting very straitlaced cult while bedding an interest group whore. We now see him as human. Kind of. Well flawed anyway.

A desperate David seeking to fell Goliath who has the numbers, brains and gnashy choppers on her side. Increasing Brashes appeal and our fascination with the weasel is that Rich and Powers seem to be plotting his burial. Watch out for Rich, she'll make brash and Hells kitchen seem like pussycats. Look in her eyes and tell me the beast hasn't landed.

Rich, Brash and Power - it sounds like a list of cardinal sins does it not.

Hah! What a joke! With the exception of ACT and the NT, which are both run by the Federal Parliament, every state in Aussie has a Labor Government!

I don't disagree with your conclusion. If you check my earlier post you will see that it was a 'hollow' victory. But still a victory in 'real politik.'

I failed to mention in the talley that by calling for Brash's resignation she preempted any takeover bid from a new leader. Brash, Labour believe is a soft target. It remains to be seen if they are right.

    So the new score

    Clarke 3
    Brash (still) 0

Strangely enough, the Nats and Brash have risen in the polls.
    Clark - 0
    Nats - 1
It's the beginning of the end for the snaggletooth one. In two years time it'll be no treasury benches and no UN. Shame.

You think people are going to be interested in this two years down the track. If it's a scrap between Clark and Brash I'd still put money on Clark. I don't think Brash will be there. The other thing Cullen has a lot of our money to give back, that's something that's not even in equation yet. But come closer to election time.

Just think what will happen if Labour pay back the money. You just watch them skyrocket up the polls. Will they do that?? They have nearly two years to raise it. That's all they have to do. Pay that back at the right time, and the Nats are What odds will you give me.

Depends on the timing, but I'm not sure repaying that money would help them politically; it would A) remind people of it all over again, and B) imply they were in the wrong.

Whether they actually were is a seperate discussion, but I think we'd all agree that what matters here is public perception, a notoriously seperate property.

Either way they're fucked... Every other party is going to bring this up at the next election - it'll turn into a shit fight of some magnitude and the focus will be taken off the other real issues... like getting people off the dole, keeping people out of jail ... etc

This is where your bigotry comes to the fore. On your Maori thread you slag Maori all and sundry and yet with no evidence of Labour invlovement you now assume that Labour was invloved in offering a 'bribe' to the Maori Party. Even if Labour knew of the approach to Maori there is no evedence that taxpayers money is invloved. You are correct in quoting your arse. Once again you're covered in shit.

Then we have something else other than bikes in common. I am of course refering to being covered in shit. Your head is so far up your arse that you've just about disappeared.

I got a PM from someone the other day suggesting that you secretly fantasize about Helen Clark and that SkyRyder, is disgusting.
