I take it there is something good on that video. Some of us are on dial up and can't watch videos unless we spend three hours waiting for them to load.

The whole point here is that sometimes we can search for an item to see if it has been posted previously, but searches don't alway show it up. There are many times now that I have been accused of reposting, but when I've challenged person claiming its a repost to show me where, they have also been unable to find it. Then, repeatedly saying "Repost!" can use up as much bandwith as the item being reposted.

Jantar with your expertise in things "wired" and your employers delving in to the 'net industry, can't you "pull a few cables"?

and what about when you cant use "search"?

i have tried using search when looking for one of my own threads, i have typed in the exact title of the thread and i get nothing! i went and looked for the thread manually to check for spelling in the title etc tried search again and still "no matches found". this has happened not just to me but others i have spoken to also???

"search" seems to not work for all, maybe its summit to do with not being a member for long enough (with regards to newbies that is)? or not having a high enough post count? etc

The "search" function does work (in a way). Just post your thread and some no life looser will search for you and post "repost", which is breaking the rules set by Spank, ie. dont post worthless shit.
Quite frankly, unless the forum mods are going to remove the reposted threads or start pinging people that post a single worded "repost", then it obviously isnt an issue for them or whomever pays for disk space etc.

I notice that these forums are frequented by the mods often. Why dont they just remove the thread.
FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
