I've learned... that to ignore the facts does not change the facts
Do you seriously expect me to believe that these politicians would implement policy based on nothing more than bullshit......
What that man said.![]()
What a great choice of roads Alice.
That R1 is the go Robertydog. Very nice. I loved the blast home. The detector went off around the prison hence the braking that was done. It was interference from something. I have trained myself to break hard when I hear anything, hence the panic. Anyway good training for us all to stay off set when riding with a good gap between bikes. It was nice to crank it up a bit on the road home.
I think tomorrow will be a better day for haveing the ride tonight.
C U all next week and thanks.
The poor wee 250 was going just about as fast as it could coming home, was fun thought, its cool how the cars move to the left to let us past. Actually it was full throttle. I wouldn't have been sitting on that speed for so long on my own, would have been worried about the instant loss of license, and I still just have a L license.(only meant to travel max 70) what a joke. I knew you had that detector Steve.
That road is fun, see you all next wed.
Where did you all go last night?
I hope to join in next week depending on what time I get home from work, as its nigh on impossible to get to the meeting in Napier by 6pm after driving home to Maraekakaho, kitting up, then riding 35 kms to Napier.
Went out Raukawa Rd, through to Argyll East then home up 2. Thing is, we usually only find out the route at the time we meet - hard to give you a heads up in time.
I got home to a bike covered in oil....24k tappet service and some monkey of a mechanic failed to ensure rocker cover was properly sealed. What a mess!!
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Had a few mishaps last night, exhaust welds letting go, bird strike, then MSTRS wee problem, plus we had to give Te-Aute Rd, Middle Rd a miss so someone could get back and cook dinner for someone, 2 was a blast anyway,
its amusing to hear the guys complaining about having to go home and cook, har har. Was dark when I got home, and I had to cook to, its a bugger having to look after yourself hu ! Think I need a maid.
Yeah its good riding out that way.
Was the monkey a professional or a signwriter?![]()
I'll call in on Saturday mid morning if all goes well at PC, and you're home.
Oooooops I forgot about the L plate and the 70 kmh thingy. Sorry. But as you say it was fun.
Note to self. Wednesday rides are slow rides.
I think you would be safe in the middle of the group. The lead bike is the one they will go for. Mind you we were only a tad over the limit.
Speights_Bud felt a bit under powered as well. He will be over it in a few months. I hope his new bike is a bit quieter than than the one he has now.
Glad you found the oil leak in time. Must check my old bike for the same thing.
Back to work for me. Was a nice night out. CU all next week.
yep, 150 just a tad.
Glad to see that your note to self is in small lettering, you will have forgotten it by next wed.
It sounds as though you all had a blast! Damm, I miss those rides..damm, I miss all the rides.![]()

You have to watch those downhill lefthanders, Alice, they can break stuff, glad you made it round!!
Hopefully the casts will come off next week and I can pillion again!
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Hope the dinner was up to standard.
It will be good when your back riding with us again.
