went down 16 on the way home,no cops and mostly dry roads, best part of the day riding wise
Great day out, weather could have been better but you get that. We had a great ride back down 16 not a cop in sight, not that we were exceeding the speed limit. All in all a good day and have to agree the most expensive salad I've had in a while.

    cheers

Yup, happened to the three of us as well - luckily one of us knew the way to the next meeting point.

Sorry to hear about that... hmm... you got home early on the trailer.

Bloody good day out, woodcocks was especially good the second time round

Snaped 180 odd photos and of them about 75 are keepers, just reloaded the laptop and forgot to install photochop, will post them later tonight (once I have got the software from work).

Great day everyone, the wind served it up a couple of times heading into Mangawhai. A few of you took a wee detour down 16 and back across Woodcocks on the way back, and stoped in at the Puhoi...
Mangawhai rd has been in better condition than it was today, but the road out to Kaiwaka is always a good 2nd choice.... Met up with the arse slapping DMNTD at Wellsford who had left his Norf crew at the M/Whai pub to have a wee play....Was very nice of the HP dude to give us a riders briefing at the start..... Sorry about the cock up at Warkworth, thought that those who left went on up to the lunch stop, not to gas up?..
Fantastic turn out, someone counted 26 bikes at the start and we picked a few more along the way.... nz_liam was busy with the camera as was Oldguy, cant wait to see the pics guys....
Cheers to everyone that made it, and Julie?.. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks to terbang for riding 2up....

What a great day! Fantastic to catch up with old friends and make a few new ones.....that wind was interesting at times.......nothing like crossing the centre line without meaning to eh Maha man?

Cant really comment on lunch prices, tho I did manage to eat half of someone elses toastie by mistake

Big to plod who followed us from Silverdale, and then told his friend to come and park up at the starting point......nothing like looking after our safety is there?

Looking forward to seeing those pics guys..

Thanks to Mr and Mrs maha man for a great ride today, was an interesting ride for me riding with a rear tyre that had a slow leak every chance I got I would stop and put more air in. most of the trip would have been done with about 25 psi tyre pressure, was OK untill cornering and with the wind made for a very interesting ride.

Was good to catch up with KBers I'd met before, and those I had seen before but not spoken to till today, and others I met today.

Here are my pics, was having so much trouble with the camera today.
