Actrix RD5 spectacular crash, who? how? why?

Well, Apart from the team KB muppetry, there was one fairly spectacular crash, I thought it was in clubmans, but couldn't see any DNFs on that feild.

The guy was out of the hairpin, and onto the middle straight when he lost it somehow, from bolt upright, and went flying for miles down the straight.
He was ambulanced away. Anyone know what the story was with that crash?

At what i can gather the rider got tangled up with an R1's tail peice with his handlebars and spat him off down the straight, could be wrong, but the rider who came to greif seemed in a new world of hurt and looked to of damaged his shoulder quite badly. fast crash to, bike and rider slid a long way.
Hope he comes out alright and the bike is not too badly damaged.
