she said--its me or the race bike-you choose

I was seeing a bit of a lady --but she decided to get all heavy on me.
It seems I spend too much time workin on my race bike and out riding.
She gave me the ultimatum-"you choose--the bike racing or me"
Its gonna be more peacefull in the gargre now shes not hangin around yappin.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Damn shame Frosty. But she knew what your interests were at the start of the relationship. Why should you change who you are to keep her happy?

Teaching you well, my lad. Just remember the most important lesson. Tits or tyres - will cost. But you can park up the tyres until you are ready, and they'll still be there.

Fuck that Frosty, anyone who gives some an ultimatum like that knowing full well their interests/obsessions before entering into the relationship aint worth the stress. What makes people think "I can change him/her" when they hook up, ffs that's what makes the person an individual, and should've added to the initial enthusiasm. Man I've got it good, my wife has no interest in bikes whatsoever other than she wants to go out for more rides together. She knows how much enjoyment I get from bikes, how happy riding makes me so on the odd occassion wants to come out and experience it with me.

Sounds like you are, but keep your chin up mate.

    Well, shoot me down but...

How much time had you been put onto the relationship?
Women will often say one thing and mean another.
Could have she been just asking that you spend a little quaility time with her, rather than actual expecting you to give up the bike?

Sorry if that's not what you want to hear Frosty, but a little balance is what is needed here.

If she meant no bikes and no riding, then I'd be right behind you. But I really expect that is not the case here.

Hell, what do I know. At the end of the day only you and her know the truth if it, and it's none of me business.
