They don't make roads like they used to. When did they start putting these damn high roads everywhereIt was a good lesson anyway, hopefully it won't happen again and if i can come away with just a few scratches on my bike and gear and no damage to me then its all good. A couple of minutes rest and hearing my bike still running took away any bad thoughts and i enjoyed the rest of the day

oh yeah, don' forget on the 2nd day out on my ride, I binned it into mud going at 30kph...after making the first turn of a S-bend and getting target fixation on a power pole... double
Yeah. Not so fun. Getting gloves ASAP! And some waterproof trousers + jacket as well... my delivery driver at work on a scooter has some nice RJays with armour plating as well. Lesson learned RE: gear.
