    Grease for steering head bearings

This may be a bit of a dumb question, but does anyone know if Duckhams LM2 heavy duty grease is ok for steering head bearings?
It says on the tube that it's particularly suited to heavily loaded bearings, steering and suspension applications. Should I trust the container?

"Fuck em with Duckhams" is a phrase I recall from way back. But yes, that grease is fine for head bearings (and swing arm bearings, too). I have a tube of it in my garage, I've used it for both head and swingarm bearings of my Suzuki and thats what we used to do the bearings in the Celticno6 Yamaha. (And ther's no truth in the runour that it caused the forks to bend, either)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Under no circumstances use any grease for zeal steering head bearing other than
Yamalube 147/251 --yamaha part no 12354/4546/321 -ex japan 21 days delivery
Otherwise there will be severe ossilation in the thrombiod bearing in the downtube.
Of course i could be taking the piss and it might be just fine
Mind you look at how celtics forks reacted to duckams

Seriously though dude--good onya for asking a "dumb" question
That grease will be just fine for head bearings.
I prefer an HMP (high melting point)grease for wheel bearings just because they Could get hot
