    FOR SALE: Honda VT250 Shadow

    Excellent V-twin cruiser, very good nick, very reliable, fun to ride. Very good commuter. Looks like a 500cc bike.

    Warranted, Registration up to date.

    New clutch installed 6000km ago

    New Battery and regulator installed 6 months ago.

    If you try it, you'll buy it.

    That bike looks to be in bloody good nick but I think you are dreaming if you expect to get $5800 for a bike of that age with that many k's.

    A nice looking bike alright, but I'd have to agree with Jamiepo.

    Here's one on Bikepoint, a 1994 model with 25K, selling for $5,500 - and that's retail!

    Personally I think your price is about $1000 too high for a private sale.

    Yes - what the others said.

    There are some going for very high prices in dealer show rooms however in a private deal, I paid $1300 less than that for my '94 with lower km's a few months ago.

    I will probably knock a bit off that when I go to sell in another couple of months too (when I get my full licence).

    Best wishes though. They are a sought after bike so if you adjust your price (a lot), it will certainly sell.
