Hell - you sure a 50 cal is all he's using?????? Those poor whatchumacallits were blown to smitherines!!!!!!!! Crack shot though, must have a pretty decent scope on the barrel.
That's quite some range...
Not really 'hunting' so much as 'wonton distruction of creatures.'
Boom! Animal: "Whathafaa~?" SPLAT!
Probably more like "Wha~?" SPLAT!

Seen some similar clips to that called dogbegone. They were shooting prairie dogs and blowing them into well the ended up looking like pools of mush. Great stuff!.
See a preview here.... http://www.dogbegone.com/video.htm
Longest confirmed kill is 2430 metres puts that range to shame at a rough guess, though I cant DL attachments from Kiwibiker even though my net is well fast enough!
And at those ranges the only warning you would get is the warm feeling of lead entering your body as the round would be well infront of the sound.
The longest-ever recorded and confirmed sniper kill was made by PPCLI Corporal Rob Furlong of the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan during Operation Anaconda in 2002. Using a .50-caliber (12.7 mm) McMillan TAC-50 rifle, Furlong shot and killed an opposing combatant soldier from a distance of 2,430 metres (1.5 miles)
Round took a fraction over 4 sec to hit its target
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
