Heres the story as i can remember

I was doing 90 odd km/h ,into a right hand bend , began to slow gently bringing the speed to about 85/75km/h at a guess , , leaned in....all sweet at this stage , thats when i noticed what i thought was a rabbit (it was a bird in the end) so reacting like a dick:slap: i moved from my line a smigin (only a little bit) with a bit of brake as well.....

Thats when it turned nasty , once i had done that the bike straightend up pointing towards the side of the road as the bend sharped , which was a gravel rut with a small metre to 1/2 metre bank , i tried to lean back into the turn but it was too late

got into the rut , bike tanked slaped (im screaming in my head , COME ON!!!.. RIDE IT OUT BITCH!!! ) but no dice , bike flipped from under me , i flew over it
and forward roled about 2 times , then i was all over the show before sliding down the bank.

I think my head it the gravel twice (might of been all three i really cant remember) with a rather loud whack each time (at this point i was addimint i wasnt gona get up afterwards) .

Then i came to a stop , was winded heavly as i landed again on my head , managed to get my helmet off in desperation to breath , thats when i noticed the blood dripping....
climbed up the bank , "where the fuck is my bike".....walked back to the corner and found it in some shrubs down the bank . Went down and turned off the fuel tap , the engine had stopped already. Began to lift it up , then i realised exactly what had just happened , dropped it and sat/colapsed down for about 5 minutes.

I then got up , lifted it up and attempted to push the bike up the bank , couldnt do it , looked back and saw an easier spot to get it up , pushed the bike 10m or so back but still couldnt get it up (was too steep) . Cue the Arron the top bloke who saw me and pulled over . Checked to see if i was ok etc and winched it out.

Adreniline (spelling?) was begining to where off now and i waited for the pain of my broken bones to set in.....nothing .

Looked over my jacket in stuff , 3 grass stains no rips , checked pants , 2 dirt stains on the sides and hips . Looked at helment , scuffs from where it hit the gravel , no cracks and visor intact.

In a nutshell apart from being winded , some bleeding and sore arms and chest i came out unscathed....i should be in hospital right now!!!!.

Bike report next , but i need a ciggy...

Now the bike .

Exhaust bent towards frame (rear can)
Instrument cluster cranked n broken (speedo only just works)
Headlamp surround broken , screen didnt break though
throttle smacked up a bit breaking the adjusting end
brake lever pushed down
r/h wing mirror vamouse
head/lamp brakets bent

Looking at the front forks im thinking they might be bent as well , ill look into it tomorrow they might be ok.

Side fairing is sweet apart from scraps and grass hanging out . Everything else aok . I think the bike took most of its tumble in the shrubs which went easy on it......and me to certain extent.

Damn, Jeaves - that is some off - sounds like you will be sore tomorrow. Good that you are relatively OK, though. But I think you'll need to buy a new helmet with your lotto winnings....
