Yes, I stupidly bought something over the phone I just knew was not going to fit properly... (sigh)

So before they go on trade me I thought I'd let you folks have an opportunity to profit from my greed.

1 pair, brand new, (tried on once by me and I promise I wore clean undies and that red spot is just a rash) Tecnic riding trou, complete with armour at knees and hips. These are the power skin 100% waterproof (they all say that sir) and breathable (ditto). They are very nice and I'm pissed off they don't fit as they even have little straps unter me boots and posh looking suspenders.. Bum!

Zip out liner (of course)

Size is 38/48 (I think) but they will fit someone a little taller and a little beefier than me so I would guess if you are...

Over 6ft and around 110 kg (mixing metric and imperial - how odd) and wear 38 jeans...

Firstly Paul, you were probably doing what we all have done; knowing the trou were probably not right, but hoping against reason that somehow they were. That doesn't make you a moron.

And yup, the "Powerskin" is waterproof AND breathable (my Teknic jacket's made of it too). However, the Powerskin works by allowing the water to wick down through the fabric (rather than being shed or running through it), and dribble out the bottom, so DON'T tuck these into your boots, as they'll end up full of water!

Yeah! I learn't that about wicking with my Spidi jacket the hard way! Gloves filled up amazingly fast!! Took me 100km before I cottoned on (hey, I'm a Guzzi rider OK)

38 is not huge btw. Averagely stout.... (bastards - stop laughing) In SOME societies (like HOG) it would be considered postitively svelte'.

I could easily use these things as winter trou as they are great with a polyprop (or 2) underneath but they are a little tall for me...

I'd had my jacket about a week when we had a tropical downpour that lasted about 20 minutes - exactly the same amount of time it took to get home...

And my sleeves were tucked into my gloves, whose semi-waterproof nature was perfect for catching the water.

Oh yeah - and it also taught me not to leave my wallet in the outside pocket when it was raining.

Note: at 6'3" If I could get down to 120kgs my pants would fit properly, they are a 42.

They have a dual size label. I guess it is euro/US or summat.

I think they would fit a 40" waist comfortably. 42" maybe but at 6'3" the length would be ok.

Where are you located. Trying them on (or go to a shop and try a pair) is the only way to be sure. Don't make the same mistake I did....
